Tad Jeffrey Memorial Fund

Donations to this fund provide grants to individual parks to implement unique and diverse projects. This year, the Tad Jeffrey Grands helped fund:

  • Blacklick Woods: Bike Repair Station

  • Blacklick Golf Course: ProShop Urban Container Gardens

  • Clear Creek: Storybook Trail

  • Highbanks: Christmas Light O Rama

  • Highbanks: Event Water Bottle Refill Stations

  • Nature Centers: Reptile Care

  • Outdoor Adventure: Blacklight Flashlights

  • Outdoor Adventure: Dinosaur Archery

  • Quarry Trails: Concrete Cornhole

  • Sharon Woods: Trash Garden

Tree and Bench Program

This program allows groups and individuals to donate trees and benches to honor or commemorate friends or loved ones as well as commemorate special events.

In 2022 this program planted 44 trees and installed 14 benches.

Benningfield Butterfly Program

Friends funds help to create seven beds to attract forty species of butterflies to Scioto Audubon Metro Park. We regularly have a volunteer group out to Scioto Audubon to help maintain the gardens.
